Every year since 2002, Radio Chikuni has been actively involve on the international children's day of broadcasting.

From the 2002/3/4 events, a children media group Kasuumbwa was formed and this year they are very eager to organise everything on their own.

All is set for the big day where other children have also been invited. Today we had 121 children wanting to participate on the day. The group shall try to accommodate as much as possible in the given time by the station.

The station shall suspend all other programmes to pave way for the programmes by, for and with children.

On the line-up are discussions, poems, songs, DJaying, Greetings, life experiences and interviews with those that have helped uplift the lives of children in Chikuni.
